Immersive Learning in London for the 1ère BFI Students
From March 4th to 7th, the 1ère BFI group traveled to London for four days to experience Anglophone culture in an immersive way.
The first full day in London, they discovered lots of new things and walked approximately 24,000 steps!
A visit to the British Museum, the National Army Museum (History component of the BFI program), getting on a double decker bus and a night at the Theater (for the literature component) were on the itinerary.
On the second day, they even beat their step count! The day began at Trafalgar Square, then on Big Ben, followed by the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace.
The BFI program began in the afternoon with a visit to the London Center followed by the play “The Tempest” at The Globe Theater.
Needless to say, everyone was quite exhausted on the way back to The Hague!
