Healthy Eating Cookbook
This term we have been looking at healthy eating as part of our DNL curriculum.
We learnt all about the value of fruits, vegetables, proteins and fibre, and the problems that can occur if we eat too much fat or sugar.
Inspired by what we had learnt we set ourselves a challenge; could we put together a recipe book full of healthy recipes?
In small groups we were tasked to find a breakfast, starter, main course and dessert that when combined had less than 75g of fat and 27g of Sugar.
Once we had found our recipes we put together our very own CE2 cook book!
