A l’école primaire d’Amsterdam la mise en place d’activités en anglais permet d’appréhender l’apprentissage de manière ludique.

Christmas baking
Cycle 1 and cycle2 had lots of fun baking traditional English Christmas treats. The PS made cream cheese cookies, the CP and CE1 made gingerbread and the CE2 made mince pies.
They were all delicious!
Electricity
This term the CE2 class has been learning about electricity in Dutch and English.
We have been learning how circuits work, conductors and insulators, and eventually made our own game. We had lots of fun making our bulb wire games and playing with them.
How does my body move?
This term in CP we have been looking at how our bodies move as well as how the stay fit and healthy.
Due to the winter men’s World Cup we have been focusing on sport and all the amazing ways our bodies can be active. we’ve been doing 5 minutes of HIIT workout at the beginning of every lesson and we made out very own moving skeletons as we learnt about the different joints in our body.
Tuff Top
Maternelle students have been exploring learning through play with the use of the Tuff Top.
Whether used to make funny faces to show emotions or using various objects to decorate Christmas Trees, the Tuff Top provides another platform for learning that is student-focused. Creativity and play make learning fun and maternelle students agree.
