In this period, the CM1 class studied Natural Phenomena in DNL English.

The class learned about floods, earthquakes, tsunamis and other natural phenomena. One study of focus was the seismograph and how it works. The other focus was on studying volcano eruptions. The class learned about the different parts of a volcano, and by making a few of them in class, they observed the effects of an erupting volcano on its surroundings. Want to hear about tsunamis?
