THE DANGERS OF THE INTERNET
BY J. CHOPIN, C. LEBRETON, E. BATTLE, I. PONSARD HINCAPIE
The Internet can be useful but it can also be dangerous. Why? Because everyone can see what you post. Someone can cyberbully you if you post a photo or video. Something on internet will stay there FOREVER! You should use the highest privacy settings.
You also need to watch out for FAKE NEWS! It is information that looks, true but is not.
Don’t answer messages from a stranger. They could be pretending to be someone else.
The Internet can be used by everyone, but nobody owns it.
Here are some good safety tips:
- Never click on things that look like they shouldn’t be there or/are inappropriate.
- Use secure sites.
- Not all the things that are put on the internet are for you or your age.
- Don’t answer SPAM because it is just junk mail.
- Don’t open an email from a stranger.
This story of Miss-Know-It-All is about the dangers of phone calls from strangers. Don’t talk to strangers in street, on the phone, or on the internet.
Beware!
Don’t do things like Missy.
