Registration for new pupils

Registration is subject to the establishment’s Internal Regulations and Financial Rules. For information use the link below:

The school has no boarding facilities and cannot accept children lodging with a third party. One of those legally responsible for the child must be resident in the Netherlands throughout their schooling.

School year 2021-2022

You need to choose between The Hague and Amsterdam. It is not possible to submit an admission file for both locations.

class level

To know the correct class level for the age of your child, please download the “birth year-grade” table using this link (in French)

GS to 1ère (age 5-16) – Children who have come from an establishment with programmes that are not recognized by the French Ministry of Education will be required to take a grade test as well as having their dossier assessed. A decision is made on the basis of the results and places available. Tests can be organised to take place remotely for pupils who are not resident in the Netherlands. Subjects are French and Mathematics. For further information about grade tests, you can follow this link (French website) or contact the admission office (contact form).

Online preregistration

Online preregistration involves 6 stages – You can interrupt the process at any time before completion (stage 6) and pick it up again by reconnecting to the portal using your identifiers to access your parent page. To help with the process you can download a tutorial by clicking on this link.

The first 3 stages are about Terms and Conditions, child (name, surname…) and schooling information. You will be asked to enter the expected entered date (first day of the school year by default).

Stage 4 – Persons legally responsible

Enter information about all persons legally responsible (legal responsibility = parental authority: see information on parental authority – in French)

Incomplete entries will be rejected.

Stage 5 – Documents to upload

Documents to complete (all the documents are in French)
Download the blank documents in PDF format using the links below. These must be completed with the information requested then uploaded to the pre-registration site (stage 5):

  • Abiding by the regulations
  • Learning form (Fiche pédagogique) for PS to CM2
  • Learning forms (Fiches pédagogiques) for 6ème to Terminale :
  • American International Section Application file if you are applying for that option starting in « CE2 » grade

Other documents to provide

  • The child’s birth certificate or a copy of the family record book (livret de famille) (languages accepted: French, English and Dutch). The document must show the identity of the parents.
  • Identity document for those legally responsible.
  • Certificate of schooling (if the child has been to school), from the MS grade (age 4)
  • School reports for 2020-2021 from the « CP » grade (age 6) and for 2019-2020 from the « 5ème » grade (age 12).
Stage 6 – Closure

Check all information entered and all documents provided because no changes can be made after completion. Your request is sent to the establishment on completion. You will receive an automatic e-mail.

Tracking your dossier and decision

Completed dossiers are ranked according to the following priorities:

1 – Establishment of origin (MS to Terminale). Priority is accorded to pupils coming from a State or State-approved private school in France or a school in the approved network abroad (AEFE) – Does not apply to the « PS » grade.
2 – Siblings (brother(s) or sister(s) already at the establishment)
3 – Age (from oldest to youngest).

You need to consult your parent page to find out the progress status of your dossier throughout the procedure.

The status of your request will be updated on your parent page by the admission office once the information and documents sent have been verified.

Decisions (admission or waiting-list depending on available places) for will be available on parent pages from mid-April.

The pupil’s admission is only confirmed on payment of the registration fee of €350. This fee is payable once the admission decision has been published. The fee will be retained if the pupil is withdrawn. The request status that provides confirmation of admission will be updated on the parent page once the establishment’s accounts department has received the funds.
